With winter weather around the corner we would like to remind our Genesis families about our inclement weather policy. Many factors are taken into consideration when closing for inclement weather. Once the school board has made their decision, notification of cancellation will be sent out through the school REMIND text, email, Facebook page, website, and on local KC TV channels.
If school must be dismissed early because of inclement weather, the same notification method mentioned above will be used. If the student is not retrieved within 30 minutes of early dismissal time, the parent will be called. Chapter 2 will be available for 1 hour following the early dismissal time. Customary fees will apply.
